Water Guard 3020N

Description

Water Guard 3020N is a one component, acrylic co-polymer based flexible waterproofing system ideal for use on cementitious and metal surfaces. Water Guard 3O2ON is suitable for many waterproofing applications. such as swimming pools, balconies, bathrooms, wet areas, basements, roof water, roof waterproofing system in damp conditions, where other systems cannot be used, such as lift pits etc.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Surface should be cleaned and sound, free from dust, loose particles, grease, oil, primers, from previous membrane systems or bitumen. Bitumen or primers should be removed by shot blasting or mechanical means. Spalled concrete should be repaired by cutting to sound Concrete and patching with Polymer modified mortars like Ressichem Patch Series and Crack heal products. It is recommended to use polymer coated tape (Construction Grade) at all critical areas such as intersections, corner joints, floor/wall junctions, gaps, peripheral areas or pipelines before the application of Water Guard 3020N, prior to fixing the polymer coated tape, gaps and corners should be filled and leveled with an appropriate polymer modified mortar from Ressichem Patch Series.

APPLICATION
Saturate the concrete surface with clean water. Apply the first coat while the surface is still damp  with no free standing water. Apply using a short stiff bristle brush or roller at a minimum thickness off mm per coat. After 2-S hours, apply the second coat in parpendicular direction to the first coat. The second coat can be finished by rubbing down with a soft sponge. Spray or trowel application is acceptable. It is recommended that for application over hollow blocks or highly porous areas, a minimum of3 coats to total thickness of 3mm be applied.

CURING
Water Guard 3O2ON should be protected from high wind, direct sunshine and rain until fully cured. Keep the treated area moist for 3-4 days after application.

SHELF LIFE
Expiration of Water Guard 3020N is 6 months after production date under dry and sheltered conditions.

Water Guard 3020N is available in 15 KG and 2O KG buckets.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
Water Guard 3020N is not regarded hazardous for transportation. Do not reuse the packaging and dispose them off as per local rules and regulations. Gloves and suitable masks can be worn during application. Please refer to the MSDS of the product for further health and safety information.
